Very Sad News

A friend at the University of Chicago reports to me that Gary Becker died concluding night.  He was 83.

Gary was 1 of the greatest economists of the by one-half century. You tin read virtually his contributions here.  I did non know him well, only based on every interaction I had alongside him, it seems that he was a genuinely prissy human being in addition to equally a path-breaking scholar.  He volition move missed.
